brantly An outstanding single! A misty haze of low bar-light, dreamy death rock, OG shoegaze legends like Swervedriver & Alison's Halo, Current bands like Soft Kill & the Funeral Party Records roster, but catchier, slightly punchier, with an almost aquatic Cure sound. The Cure comparison is apt as they fucking nail the 'A Forest' cover, and most Cure covers fall way short of the originals, not this one. For sure making my best of '20 list!
